The four new rule changes will improve safety, increase productivity, and increase flexibility for truck drivers.
- The rules are: 30-min. breaks: can remain on duty for breaks & not have to take a break til completing 8 hrs of driving time, rather than consecutive time; 100 air-mile exception: must be done working w/in 14 consecutive hrs & must remain w/in 150 air-mile radius.
