If there is abnormal usage (ex. Broken piping), an email alert will be sent to your cell phone. No IT guy is required. Just connect wires as per 6th picture (or video) & ready to go. It includes 1 software key and 1 annual fee. One CC2030 Gateway can monitor 20 meters ( water, electricity, and gas). 1 software key ($30, one-time fee) and 1 annual fee ($2.5) per meter is required for additional meter connected to the CC2030.

- When water flows back, meter keeps generating pulse like water is flowing forward. Reading on cell phone, PC is based on input of pulse.
