- Sturdy and Easy to Install Shelf, I wanted to put my echo show 8 on a shelf in my kitchen so I looked around for one and I m glad I came upon this one. Very nice, easy to install, and you can move it sideways and up and down. That s a lot better than just having your show sit in one spot.

Before stand: we were using chip clips and various other items to tilt the Amazon Echo so family was not looking up at ceiling fan when they dropped in . After stand: family is looking at us and we can easily turn to include others in camera - even pets! A little pricey (Amazon should have included this in design) but does not slip off and makes Echo easy to move.

Also, the tilt is strong enough to stay put in whichever position you choose. I was skeptical about this aspect, and wondered if the tilt would end up sagging over time. It truly stays in the angle it is placed. Additionally, the base doesn't take up much space and is very stable.

- I took into consideration that the reviews were more about attaching the generation 2 to the stand. It was about the 360 angle or the up or down tilt. Once I received the stand it was easy to install. All I had to do was turn the screws to the horizontal position and then remove them. Place the generation 2 on to the stand and use the new screws to secure it and turn back to the vertical position. Being a grandmother of ten I was impressed that I could do it. I love it. Go me...
