- Store and transport at room temperature, valid for 12 months.
- The PVDF membrane, nitrocellulose membrane or cellulose acetate membrane were immersed in Ponceau S working solution, and the staining was shaken for 3-5 min or longer until clear bands appeared.
- Rinse the stained membrane in distilled water for a few seconds to slightly remove the background color until the background is light and the protein band is clear.
- Rinse with distilled water, PBS or other appropriate solution 2-3 times, 3-5 min each time to remove Ponceau S, and conduct the subsequent Western experiment.
- Ponceau S staining solution can be recycled and used repeatedly.
- Ponceau S staining solution is not suitable for protein staining detection on nylon membrane.
