Bedder Covers Use A Silicone Adhesive That Works To Create A Great Seal And Keep Water Out. But, If You Install It While The Truck Is Wet And You Seal Water In Behind The Tape - The Silicone Gets Gooey And Will Leave A Residue! So, Don't Install When The Vehicle Is Wet! And, If You Do - Like I Did For My Testing - You Can Remove The Silicone Residue With Warm, Soapy Water And A Sponge. Make Sure You Remove The Silicone Before It Dries..

- Update: We have had some customers with residue issues, so I ran some tests to figure out what was going on. Bedder Covers use a silicone adhesive that works to create a great seal and keep water out. But, if you install it while the truck is wet and you seal water in behind the tape - the silicone gets gooey and will leave a residue! So, don't install when the vehicle is wet! And, if you do - like I did for my testing - you can remove the silicone residue with warm, soapy water and a sponge. Make sure you remove the silicone before it dries.
