A tidy way to store extra binding for future quilting projects.
It allows you to easily roll up your folded binding while you are ironing. Set the Binding Wheel on the floor by your sewing machine and the binding will easily roll off as you attach it to your project.
Holds enough binding for a king sized quilt.
Fold and iron your 2 1/2 (or smaller) fabric strips in half. (Use a Third Hand Binding Tool to make the job easier!)
Place the folded edge of your binding under one of the rounded supports on the wheel. This will help guide your fabric and will also apply a little pressure to help it roll onto the wheel smoothly.
Thread the fabric through the slot in the center and pull about 1 1/2-2 through as pictured. This will hold the end of the binding as you turn the wheel.
Turn the wheel to roll the binding onto it until you get to a part of the fabric that hasn't yet been ironed. Repeat the ironing rolling process until the full strip of fabric is ironed.
