• WHY WE NEED IT: When your air compressor pressurizes the surrounding air, the water vapor or humidity can be condensed as water. This water then sits in the bottom of your tank. The main issue with having water in your air compressor s tank is that it can cause the tank to rust from the inside out, weakening the walls. A drain valve performs the critical function of allowing excess water vapor to escape into the atmosphere.
• EXTEND TANK DRAIN ASSEMBLY: Includes a 1/4 elbow with pre-applied thread sealant, 10 inch flexible braided steel hose and 1/4 quarter turn drain valve. Max working pressure: 175 PSI. Blasting Pressure: 475 PSI. Max Temperature: 200 degrees F.
• DURABLE&FLEXIBLE: Flexible braided steel hose covers and protects silicone drain hose. Ensuring quality and durability, rust-proof, burst-proof and anti-corrosion, protecting inner tube and preventing leakage.
• LEAK PROOF:The extended tank drain kit offers a 1/4 in. elbow with pre-applied thread sealant, allowing for attaching the additional drain hose or elbow. With pre-applied solutions, there is no need to apply adhesives, sealants or any other locking or sealing material during assembly, fill the gaps in threads, preventing fluid from leaking out.
• BETTER WORK PERFORMANCE: The ball valve is equipped with lever handle for convenient on/off manual control and full port flow; a lever handle for on/off to control the flow between pipes or hoses. Our drain valves are commonly installed on air receiver tanks, drip legs, bulk moisture separators, coalescing filters, refrigerated air dryers, and deliquescent air dryers.
