- The SIMPLE EV240 is a quick and easy way to plug in a 240V electric vehicle charger (EVSE). A 240V outlet is NOT REQUIRED. It has a 240V on one end and two 5-15P (120V) plugs on the other. Two non GFCI lightly loaded 120V outlets on opposite circuits/phases are required. When charging more than 12A use 20A NEMA 5-20R outlets.
