A normal conical shape tip will often stick to the insert and pull it back out, ruining the project.
- M3 THREADED INSERT PACK: Each Virtjoule Heat Set Insert Tip for M3 has 30 threaded inserts for the M3 tip. M3 is a popular size for Arduino circuit board hole mounts. Not all M3 inserts you may find have the same outer diameter. So check your design with the inserts you have.
- EASE OF USE: These installation tips install by sliding over the ceramic heating element of the Hakko irons, just like the soldering iron tip, while still fitting in the 1/4 chamber of a Weller SP40NKUS.
