- The new black plastic is very smooth and softer than nylon PA66. Compared with polycarbonate, it has a higher melting temperature (does not affect the smooth surface). The new material makes them smoother than the older white versions of U4 and U4T.

I Like To Think Of Them As A Holy Panda's More Sane Cousin With A Nicely Rounded But Slightly Less Extreme Bump, Better Qc, And Minimal/Sensible Factory Lube. They Feature A Longer Stem Post For An Earlier Bottom Out And That Signature Thock We All Know And Love. They Are Made From A Secret Blend Of 'Boba Plastic' That Gives A Deeper Sound Profile Compared To Other Switch Housings. The Black Version Features A Black Housing (Gazzew's Boba Plastic Blend) With A Gold Stem. I like to think of them as a Holy Panda's more sane cousin with a nicely rounded but slightly less extreme bump, better QC, and minimal/sensible factory lube. They feature a longer stem post for an earlier bottom out and that signature thock we all know and love. They are made from a secret blend of 'boba plastic' that gives a deeper sound profile compared to other switch housings. The black version features a black housing (Gazzew's boba plastic blend) with a Gold stem. This variant retains the same Boba plastic, but is not subject to yellowing when exposed to some foams like the legacy pearl boba plastic.
