- To do this, you will need to use different size router bits to achieve optimum results. Using the wrong size bits can result in damaging the router bit and dovetail jig (dovetail jig NOT included).
- The reason we need to use different size bits for different thicknesses of stock is to make sure that dovetail cuts not only look good, but the bearing must sit just right on the Peachtree Dovetail Jig aluminum template (not included and sold separately) while cutting
- The Mini Router Bit Set includes a straight router bit with a bearing and a dovetail bit with a bearing. The Mini Router Bit Set can be used to cut dovetails in stock 1/8 thick to 3/8 thick. This makes this bit set perfect for those smaller more delicate woodworking projects. The set includes a 7 degree Dovetail Bit and a 5/8 Straight Bit both with 1/4 shank and 5/8 bearings.

While these types of clamps work fairly well on certain glue up projects, the one thing they don t do at all is apply pressure from the top and bottom of the panels during glue up. In fact, with all the pressure being applied on both sides, bar and pipe clamps will almost certainly bow, buckle or rack your panel glue up project.
- Let s make racked panel glue ups a thing of the past! The uniquely designed 4 way pressure solves this age old issue by applying pressure to all four sides of your panel glue up. With a simple turn of the rotating clamp handle, all four sides of the clamp will draw inward at the same time. This provides equal pressure on to your panel and prevents bowing, buckling, or racked panels.
- Build any length clamp with the durable plastic bars with 4 notches for maximum adjustability to handle a variety of stock widths. Clamp can be used for boards up to 6 inches in thickness by simply adjusting the clamp width capacity with the appropriate number of notches. That s when we decided to create this package with pre-cut UHMW bars, pre-cut aluminum track, a knob and bolt and an easy to understand how to guide booklet so you can create your very own, custom crosscut sled to fit your table saw!
- UHMW bars are most commonly used as runners for crosscut sleds since they don t produce as much friction as wood does. - Micro-Mesh is a unique cushioned abrasive that produces a very fine and uniform scratch pattern. The nine grades of abrasives range from 1500 grit to 12000 grit. The 1500 is similar in grit range to conventional 400 grit wet/dry sandpaper. The 12000 will leave a scratch pattern that cannot be detected by the human eye and produces a wonderful looking finish. Micro-Mesh abrasives can polish to a high reflective state or leave a matte or satin finish depending upon where you stop.
- Before starting the Micro-Mesh cycle of abrasive sanding, coarse sanding should be done using up to 320 grit sandpaper. Shaping, sawing or turning of the work piece should be complete.Begin with 1500 Micro-Mesh. Sand until all of the sandpaper scratches are removed. Continue with the MICRO-MESH series and cycle up to the desired look (1800, 2400, 3200, 3600, 4000, 6000, 8000, 12000). Thinned lemon oil or Danish oil can be applied as a finish on bare wood.
- MicroMesh performs very well in conjunction with polyurethane, polyester, epoxy, lacquer and so on. Follow the manufacturer s recommended cure times prior to re-coating or applying the finish coat. Micro-Gloss liquid abrasive can be hand rubbed onto the finish following the 12000 Micro-Mesh step for an ultra high gloss finish.

- When you need to cut a narrow piece of stock on a table saw we know that it can be a little dicey or intimidating. Many of us try to cut the piece we need on the outside of the blade rather than dealing with narrow cuts. However, cutting narrow stock is sometimes unavoidable. In this case it is recommended that you use a safety device such as a push stick to help feed the stock through. Push sticks also help you safely push a workpiece, keeping it flat against a table top while it is being cut.
- Designed to keep your hands away from blades or cutter, this push stick is an essential tool for your safety. The push stick prevents your hand from getting to close to the cutters or blades on table saws, router tables, shapers and jointers. The push stick has a 90 degree notch on the end with a relief circle to accept the 90 degree corner of your stock. The notched end is designed to be at the ideal angle to the handle and allows for even pressure while pushing stock through the blade.
- One of the handiest features of this push stick is that we have embedded two magnets into the handle. We have done this because many of us have a hard time keeping track of our tools once we are done with them.
